The swimming pool deck has been comprehensively renovated to create a more refined, comfortable, and welcoming outdoor environment. Existing surfaces have been refreshed through upgraded retiling, new paving, and enhanced wall finishes, giving the poolside area a cleaner, more contemporary character while improving the overall sense of quality and durability. The renewed material palette helps define the deck as a polished leisure space, with finishes selected to complement the pool setting and provide a calm backdrop for relaxation.

A key part of the design is the introduction of pergolas, which bring structure, shade, and a stronger sense of place to the pool deck. These elements help break down the open deck into more intimate zones for lounging, gathering, and enjoying the poolside setting throughout the day. Together with carefully selected outdoor furniture, the pergolas create comfortable destinations within the space, encouraging residents and guests to linger, relax, and make fuller use of the deck as an outdoor living area.

Planting and pots have been thoughtfully incorporated to soften the hardscape and introduce a warmer, more natural layer to the renovated deck. The greenery adds texture, colour, and seasonal interest, helping to frame views, enhance the poolside ambience, and create a gentler transition between built elements and open leisure areas. This landscape-led approach transforms the deck from a purely functional pool surround into a more inviting and enjoyable setting.

The completed renovation elevates the swimming pool deck into a relaxed and contemporary resort-style environment, balancing practical upgrades with a stronger focus on comfort and atmosphere. By combining renewed finishes, shaded pergola areas, contemporary furniture, and lush planting, the design creates a poolside experience that feels warmer, more comfortable, and better suited for everyday leisure, social interaction, and quiet moments of retreat.
